Paediatric occupational therapists work with children, adolescents and their carers as a team to help them achieve their daily occupations. These are activities the child or carer either:
that would bring them meaning or purpose, or would improve their quality of life. By focussing on these key areas, OTs help children in developing confidence, self-esteem, social skills and general wellbeing.
